FAITH JOURNEY CIRCLE - Have you been disillusioned?

Woman shrugging her shoulders
Confused about your faith journey?

Explore your faith journey; what you had thought it would be and what it has actually been.

To be disillusioned is to be free of the illusion.

Full cartoon of a cow with a halo, arms folded in front, sitting on a frustrated person. Her udder is laying on top of his head. He's wearing a bracelet with WWJD on it. Which means What Would Jesus Do.

Let's start with SPOTTING SACRED COWS!

As you reflect back upon your FAITH JOURNEY …

WHO did you have faith in? WHAT did you base your beliefs on? WHEN did you rely on your faith? HOW would you describe your faith now? WHY is your faith important?

THE PURPOSE OF THIS GROUP IS TO DISCOVER and DIALOGUE (not debate)

Stay CURIOUS … have EMPATHY … GROW … LEARN … FOCUS on “SELF-WORK”
(Not on fixing others)

IMPORTANT: If you are a “right-fighter”, and feel it is your duty and call to change other people’s minds – then this group isn’t for you.

TOOLS and RESOURES that we will be working with:

We will explore belief systems that have been caught or taught and dig deep into the source from whence they came.

Through dialogue we learn about one another and what each of us believes. We learn where we are certain of our own faith and where we are not.

Identify those areas in your beliefs that are actually preventing you from growth. Many beliefs are caught, not taught, or assumed. (We often hear what we hope, or want to hear, not what was actually said.)

You’ll hear stories from all faiths of standards to live by, only to discover that you were being gaslighted, or the person telling the story was.

Lean in and listen closely to what is being said. Notice how words, actions, and beliefs are affecting others.

“People don’t care how much you know
until they know how much you care”.
