Renewing your mind and healing your heart takes time. After years of informational input, there are layers of beliefs, opinions, and perceptions that may or may not be beneficial.
Videos that we’ll be watching will come from a variety of sources. Some may be Christian or Biblical in nature, some may be considered to be “New Age” or Scientific in nature. Learn how to become responsible for what you hear and believe – no matter who delivers it. After all, that’s the goal we are moving toward by listening, noticing, and discussing.
VIDEO CIRCLES is a fascinating journey of watching a wide range of videos and noticing what emotions they invoke, what belief systems they challenge, or what thoughts they expand. Usually, videos are 15 minutes or less. Once in a while, a video may be longer, but attendees will be notified ahead of time.
Transcriptions of the videos are made available ahead of time if you wish to print it off to jot down notes, highlight important quotes or thoughts that are mentioned in the video itself.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
After saying hello, the screen is shared, and the video is viewed together by all, then discussion or comments are made after.
- A relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
- Interesting comments, discussions, and shared stories.
- Videos Circles lasts from 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours. If you are not comfortable in a chat with audio and video, then let us know ahead of time so that we can help you attend anonymously. (For security reasons, this must be known ahead of time.)
- You will not be forced to participate, but you are welcome to join in and share your thoughts, even if you disagree about something.
