Invite a friend to one of these events …
- WHO do you have faith in?
- WHAT do you base your beliefs on?
- WHEN do you rely on your faith?
- HOW would you describe your faith?
- WHY is your faith important?
If you are CURIOUS, have EMPATHY, a desire to GROW and LEARN, and more interested in “SELF-WORK” over fixing others – then this group is for you.
If you are a “right-fighter” and feel it is your duty and call to change other people’s minds – then this group isn’t for you. If you have been traumatized by others who have challenged you on your faith walk and aren’t sure you are up to exploration – that’s okay, we understand and will be here for you when you are ready.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS GROUP IS TO DISCOVER and DIALOGUE (not debate)
TOOLS and RESOURES that we will be working with:
We will explore belief systems that have been caught or taught and dig deep into the source from whence they came.
It is through dialogue that we learn about one another and what each of us believes. Without being certain of our own faith, we are not equipped to lean into and engage in, conversations with others of differing beliefs.
Nor do we identify those areas in our beliefs that are actually preventing us from growth. Many beliefs are caught, not taught, or are assumed. We often hear what we hope, or want to hear, not what was actually said.
You’d be surprised at the stories that we all can share that may have even been held up as standards of faith-living for us to attain, only to discover that we were being gaslighted, or the individual telling the story was.
If we do not lean in and listen closely to what is coming out of our mouths, we will not be aware of how our words, actions, and beliefs are affecting others. Nor will we truly understand why we get the results we are getting in our own lives.
“People don’t care how much you know,
until they know how much you care”.
